AFC Bournemouth are one of four clubs watching Bristol City ace

AFC Bournemouth are thought to be one of four English Premier League clubs tracking in-form Bristol City midfielder Bobby Reid according to the Bristol Post.

The 25-year-old Bristol born midfield ace has starred for The Robins this season as Lee Johnson’s men have played their part in the race for promotion to the top flight.

English Premier League trio Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley and Leicester City have all been linked with summer moves for the player and it has now been suggested that AFC Bournemouth are also ready to join the chase for Reid’s services.

Reid is out of contract at Ashton Gate at the end of the season but Bristol City have the option to extend the player’s deal by a further 12 months. The midfielder believed to be yet to sign a new deal with The Robins.

The player is a product of Bristol City’s academy system and Reid has gone on to make 149 senior appearances for the club in which he has scored 27 goals. The midfielder has also been loaned out by The Robins on no less than five occasions with Reid having enjoyed temporary spells with Cheltenham Town, Oldham Athletic and Plymouth Argyle (three spells).

Bristol City are keen to hold onto one of their most talented players but Reid is thought to be keen on testing himself in the English Premier League in the future and could be tempted by a move to the top flight should his current club not win promotion .
