Bantams suffer late blow in play-off chase – Twitter reacts

Bradford City’s hopes of finishing in the Sky Bet League One top six have been dealt a significant blow after they lost 1-0 at home to Wigan Athletic.

The Bantams failed to register a single shot on target during the full 90 minutes but did look set to record a goalless draw until Michael Jacobs won it for The Latics at the death with a strike from close range.

The result leaves Simon Grayson’s men six points off sixth placed side Peterborough United and after the match, fans were less than happy with their side’s performance on Twitter.

Bradford City are back in action on Monday evening when they travel to the Keepmoat Stadium to take on Doncaster Rovers.
