Five players Garry Monk could sign for Birmingham City

Birmingham City fans are pleased with the appointment of Garry Monk as manager. He has signed a three-and-a-half deal and here are five players he could potentially bring to St. Andrews in the summer-

Kyle Bartley- The 26 year-old has played under Monk at both Swansea City and Leeds United and he could be tempted to bring him to Birmingham as well. Bartley has played for the Blues before during a loan spell in 2014, and with his chances being limited at Swansea, could a return to St. Andrews be on the cards?

Oli McBurnie- Monk signed the striker for Swansea from Bradford City in 2015. He is currently on loan at Barnsley but has impressed for the Tykes since he joined them in January. He is certainly an option for a loan striker next season for the Blues, should they stay up.

Stuart Dallas- The Northern Ireland international winger has found it tough to nail down a first-team spot at Leeds United this season. He was a key player for Monk when he was in charge of Leeds in the 2016/17 season and he could be interested in a re-uniting with him at Birmingham.

Connor Roberts- Monk knows the 22 year-old right-back well from managing him at Swansea City ad then signing him on loan for Middlesbrough last summer. He could be tempted to sign him for the Blues as back-up to Maxime Colin.

Adam Clayton- The experienced midfielder was linked with a move away from Middlesbrough in January and could leave them in the summer. Monk knows him from his stint at Boro this season and could potentially sign him to bolster his midfield.
