Sheffield Wednesday fans seething after Bristol City batter them

Sheffield Wednesday fans were seething after they team were on the end of a 4-0 drubbing from Bristol City.

The Owls have only won once in the league since Jos Luhukay became the manager of the club one of the few bright spots of his reign, the good FA Cup run, ended on Tuesday night with Swansea City beating them 2-0 in front of the BBC Sport cameras.

They were hoping to get back to track with their trip to Ashton Gate, one of the few games still going ahead despite snow caused from the Beast in the East and Storm Emma. But things would soon go wrong in the West Country. Just 13 minutes into the game, Wednesday were undone by a good team move which would eventually lead to Bobby Reid scoring. He would get another in the 35th minute to put them two ahead. And to make things worse, Josh Brownhill made it three before the break after his shot found the bottom corner.

Wednesday were looking to get something back in the second half but not even that would happen. Bristol City would get a penalty and Reid confirmed a fantastic game for him by stepping up and scoring from the spot kick. Soon enough, an embarrassing game for the South Yorkshire would finish and allow fans to go do something more productive like watching endless repeats of Friends on Comedy Central.

As a fight against relegation becomes more and more likely, Wednesday fans were angry with the pathetic performance from their team.
