Mansfield Town wasted no time in finding a replacement for Steve Evans, who left them for Peterborough United. They went for Swindon Town’s David Flitcroft. Here are 5 players he could sign for them in the summer-

Scott Golbourne- Flitcroft managed the experienced left-back at Barnsley and his contract with Bristol City expires in the summer. He is currently on loan at MK Dons but he is certainly one who Flitcroft may target at the end of the season.

Danny Mayor- The winger was signed by Flitcroft for Bury from Sheffield Wednesday in 2014 and is still there now. With it looking like Bury could go down to League Two and Mansfield are in the promotion race, could he make the reunion with his former manager in the summer?

Chris Hussey- Flitcroft knows the 29 year-old left-back well from their time at Bury together. He then signed him on loan for Swindon Town from Sheffield United for this season. With him returning to the Blades in June at the end of this loan, Flitcroft could try and bring him to Mansfield.

Luke Norris- The striker has scored 11 goals so far this season for Swindon Town under Flitcroft and he is one who he could try and sign for Mansfield in the summer if they get promoted to League One. They certainly have the finances to make some good signings.

Oliver Lancashire- Flitcroft knows the 29 year-old defender well from when he was the assistant manager of Rochdale. He signed him for Swindon in the summer and made him the captain. He is definitely one who Flitcroft may try and bring to Mansfield.
