Gary Caldwell- The ex Wigan Athletic and Chesterfield boss is looking for a route back into the game and is an outsider for this job. Caldwell had an impressive first taste of management which saw him lift the League One title with Wigan in his first season. Mansfield would be a decent chance for the 35 year-old to bounce back into football and maybe give them chance of a promotion to League One.
