Norwich City were unable to find a way past Bolton Wanderers and would draw 0-0.
The Canaries needed a win to make sure they kept in touch with the Sky Bet Championship playoffs while Bolton were hoping to pick up a win so they could continue their rise up the table and away from the relegation zone.
But neither side would get a win as they played out a goalless draw. Norwich seemed to have all the chances with Moritz Leitner sending one wide with just Ben Alnwick to beat while a James Maddison shot hit the post early on. The closest that Bolton got to a goal was when Sammy Ameobi not being off with an acrobatic effort. The most noteworthy incident in the match was when Norwich head coach Daniel Farke was sent off after kicking the ball away in frustration in the 89th minute.
