Millwall head coach Neil Harris was delighted with the result and praised his team for the grit they showed in getting this result.

He told the club website: “For 40 minutes, that was an excellent away performance,”

“We were solid, reliable and good on the counter-attack, but didn’t really have that killer touch in front of goal”

“We then let Burton get momentum in the final five minutes of the first-half. I said to the boys at half-time that they needed to find a way to win the game, or at least stay solid at the back and get ourselves a clean sheet at the worst.”

“It’s not a goal that you associate with Ben Marshall, but it’s a valuable contribution – we stood strong and found a way. I’d be disappointed as a Burton fan if my team hadn’t got anything out of that today. It certainly wasn’t one of our most vintage performances and certainly our worst of the week. But, we’ve got that spirit and that determination and a way of getting points at the moment – I’m really pleased”
