Earlier today, Leeds United released a report on the club website regarding the absence of new signing Tyler Roberts from the Whites line-up.
It wasn’t to be good news. The report indicated that the Whites would be without new signing Tyler Roberts for what they called an “extended period” of time after “picking up an ankle injury in training earlier this week.“
Roberts arrived at Leeds with an injury that was described as a ‘kick injury’ by former Whites head coach Thomas Christiansen, with the young striker not playing a part in the game against Cardiff City.
The article put out by Leeds also indicated that the young Wales star will be absent for an “extended period” also mentions, and clarifies, that the club are awaiting comment and prognosis of another injury. They say that “initial scans” have indicated that the 19-year-old “has a small crack on his shin” and that it is this which will determine “a timescale for Tyler’s return to action.”
With a set of games approaching that could define the run-in to Leeds United’s 2017/18 Sky Bet Championship campaign, fans are obviously concerned about the new signing’s absence. This is especially more so when met with the current vagueness of an indeterminate, yet extended period of time is mentioned.
With this news, a reaction was expected from Leeds United fans and they didn’t disappoint.

These fans see the positive side of things though – it’s not all doom n’ gloom for some
Exactly. Load of fuss about nothing. Keep Ekuban fit, play two up top, things will get better.
