5 potential candidates to replace Stuart McCall at Bradford City

There is not much surprise to the news that Bradford City have parted company with Stuart McCall. The Bantams have been in poor form and now find themselves looking for a new manager. Here are 5 potential candidates-

Simon Grayson- The former Blackpool, Leeds United, Huddersfield Town and Preston North End manager has been without a job since being sacked by Sunderland in November. He is a League One promotion specialist and is an early frontrunner for the Bradford City job. The Bantams are currently 6th in the league and still have a good chance of promotion if they get the right man in.

Brian McDermott- Formerly of Leeds United and Reading, McDermott is an experienced manager and his name has been thrown into the hat for the Bradford City job. He has been out of the game for a while and may need to drop into League One to get back in.

Alan Stubbs- He has expressed his interest in getting back into management. He was sacked by Rotherham United last season after a poor start to the season but did a great job with Hibernian in Scotland. He deserves another chance somewhere.

Steve McClaren- The former England manager has recently been linked with the Leeds United job but has now been ruled out. The experienced boss, who has managed Middlesbrough and Derby County to name a couple, is an outsider for the Bradford job.

Uwe Rosler- He is currently the manager of League One side Fleetwood Town and has done a decent job with them. Could Bradford be tempted by him?
