Ashley Fletcher was making his debut today for Sunderland he was very disappointed that he couldn’t start off with a win.
He said: “Everyone’s disappointed.”
“I think in the first half, first 35, 40, minutes we were very good.”
“We looked dangerous going forward and we had chances to score. Then the sucker punch came with their goal and then it kind of knocked the confidence out of us a little bit.”
“But I think we have got a lot of games to go. Only ourselves can get ourselves out of this situation and like I’ve said before we’re ready to fight.”
