Pre-season friendly preview: Dartford Vs Millwall

Ian Holloway has been preparing for his first pre-season friendly over the last few days for Millwall’s trip to non-league outfit, Dartford, at Princes Park on Tuesday. Tomorrow evening Millwall will be expecting to breeze past Tony Burman’s Dartford with ease, but the non-leaguers will be hoping to cause an upset on home turf. Millwall are planning on fielding two different teams for each half, both including a balance of senior and youth players.

The Lions boss, Holloway, wants to integrate the younger players into the first team for the upcoming season. Trialists, Magaye Gueye and Jean-Eudes Maurice, could also feature in the line ups tomorrow in an effort to impress the manager and possibly gain a contract at The Den. If both players do feature, they will not be the only change about the club as the Millwall players will be sporting the new home kit for the 2014-15 season for the first time.

The last time Millwall met Dartford, was in 2011 which was also at Princes Park, when the Lions put 5 past the home team courtesy of a James Henry hat-trick and a goal from both Darius Henderson and Josh Mcquoid.
