Oldham Athletic are set to sign F.C. Nantes defenders Wilfried Moimbé and Enock Kwateng on loan until the end of the season, according to Ouest France.
Wilfried Moimbé and Enock Kwateng are expected to be loaned out by F.C. Nantes until the end of the season to Oldham Athletic.
Kwateng had only played one game this season, against Strasbourg at the end of September. Moimbé has meanwhile featured in Ligue 1.
Oldham Athletic have officially announced that businessman Abdallah Lemsagam has taken over the club and it seems he’s created a link with French side FC Nantes as Latics have taken winger Queensy Menig on loan this season. Unfortunately Menig didn’t impressive at Boundary Park and his loan spell in England was cut short.
Wilfried Moimbé started his career at Bordeaux B where has enjoyed two loans spells the first in which was in 2008/09 season where he made 20 appearances for Reims. The following season he joint Ajaccio on loan and featured twice for the French side.
He then made the permanent switch to Tours in 2010, where stayed for three years making 75 appearances for the club. Following that Wilfried Moimbé left Tours to join Brest where he played 56 games for the club scoring once. In 2015, the defender joint Nantes and has featured 23 times.
Enock Kwateng started his career at F.C. Nantes where he made his first appearance for Nantes B in 2014. He made 32 appearances for the B side in a two-year period. The defender made his first team début in 2015 and since then has featured nine times for the Ligue 1 club. The youngster has featured for France’s U16s up to U20s.
Also, Oldham Athletic have completed the loan signing of Wolves striker Duckens Nazon until the end of the season. He was loaned to Sky Bet League Two side Coventry City where he made 24 appearances and scored eight goals.
