No bids made by Arsenal, Everton or Liverpool for Addicks defender

English Premier League heavyweights Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool are yet to submit transfer offers for Charlton Athletic defender Ezri Konsa according to News Shopper.

The 20-year-old Newham born centre-back has been heavily involved in first team duties for The Addicks since making his first team debut for the club early last season.

The scouts have been flocking down to The Valley in their numbers to watch the player in action and it has been reported that top flight giants Arsenal, Everton and Liverpool are thought to be some of the clubs which are weighing up moves for the talented defender.

It is now believed that despite the ever-increasing interest in Konsa, Charlton Athletic are yet to receive any formal bids for the player’s services and the South East Londoners are in no rush to sell the youngster.

Konsa has made 70 first team appearances for The Addicks since coming through the club’s youth ranks. The centre-back has already represented England at Under-20 level and he was a member of the side which won the 2017 FIFA Under-20 World Cup in South Korea in June.

It is inevitable that Konsa will eventually make the step up to a higher division club but for now, the centre-back must remain focussed on the job at The Valley as Charlton Athletic look to win promotion back to the Sky Bet Championship.
