Fulham and Wolves are the latest teams to become interested in Norwich City’s Nelson Oliveira according to a report from The Sun.
The 26-year-old striker had a great start to the season and while he has slowed off from that form where he scored six goals in ten games, he has still been performing well for the Canaries and is set to be a key player for them as they make a charge for the Sky Bet Championship play-offs. This of course has attracted plenty of other teams who are hoping to lure him away from Norfolk this month.
The team who most people know are interested in Oliveira is Derby County. Reports said that the Rams have not only had an interest in signing the Portuguese but have also made an £8m bid to sign him. Many believe that this offer was rejected, especially as Norwich rejected a bid worth £10m from Swansea City back in the summer. And now Derby are not the only Championship team who want to sign Oliveira.
Now Fulham and Wolves are both looking to sign him. While Fulham spent plenty of signing Rui Fonte in the summer, he has struggled for form and the Cottagers are now looking for an alternative. Wolves on the other hand are looking for another striker to give some competition for Leo Bonatini and while they have been linked with a lot of forwards during this month, the latest player they want to bring to Molineux is Oliveira. Now the race is on to sign him while it is now more difficult for Norwich to keep hold of one of their top players.
