Lincoln City winger Harry Anderson believes he has a lot more to offer Danny Cowley’s side heading into the new year.
Anderson spent the majority of last season on loan with the Imps from parent club Peterborough United, a move which was made permanent in the summer.
Along with fellow former Posh player, Michael Bostwick, he has slotted straight into the Imps starting 11. The Crawley Town academy product has scored three goals this season, with a brace coming against Crewe Alexandra which topped an emphatic 4-1 win for the Imps.
Anderson has been impressive so far this campaign but believes there is more to come from him. He spoke to the press earlier:
“I’m happy with my personal start to the season. I think I need to step it up and get a few more goals in this Christmas period.
“I think I’ve become a lot better because I’ve had a run of games. I’ve needed to improve each week.”
The majority of Anderson’s first team football has come in the National League having spent time with current manager Danny Cowley at Braintree Town as well as Lincoln last season.
The winger helped fire the Imps back into the Football League as well as reaching an FA Cup quarter-final and an FA Trophy semi-final.
Anderson admitted there is no league like SkyBet League Two as it’s psychically demanding as well as competitive:
“It’s different to what I’ve played in before. It’s a physical league and anyone can beat anyone really. It’s just about who’s up for it on the day.”
