Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham eye £5 million move for Wolves midfielder

Premier League trio Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on a move for Wolves midfielder Morgan Gibbs-White, according to the Express.

The 17 year-old impressed in the England U17 side who won the U17 World Cup in India and has a number of suitors. He is apparently valued at £5 million.

Born in Stafford, Morgan-Gibbs joined the Wolves academy at the age of 8. He has been a key player for the club’s development side and was handed his first-team debut at just 16 off the bench in January when Wolves played Premier League side Stoke City in the FA Cup Third Round.

He made his first league appearance for Wolves against Wigan Athletic in February, where they won 1-0. Morgan-Gibbs has made seven appearances for Wolves since.

He is regarded as one of the brightest young talents at Wolves. Their fans will be hoping they can see off interest from the Premier League and keep hold of him in January. The Midlands club have made a great start to the Championship season under their new boss Nuno Espirito Santo. They are currently top of the league and are looking a good bet for promotion to the top flight this season.

It has been the case on many occasions when a young player has left a Football League club for a Premier League giant and has never been given a chance. You would think that Morgan-Gibbs is more likely to be given a chance at Wolves then he would if he moved to Liverpool, Arsenal or Spurs.
