Nottingham Forest got their fourth win in six games as they comfortably beat QPR 4-0 at the City Ground. The win has lifted Forest up to eighth in the Championship.
Forest took the lead after the 13 minutes. Kieran Dowell seized on an error and played through Tyler Walker who made no mistake from close range. Forest made it 2-0 just before half-time. Kieran Dowell rounded Smithies and scored to give the home side a two-goal cushion.
QPR didn’t create many chances, but they should’ve got a goal back. Early on in the second-half, Mackie was given a free header in the box, but he could only head wide. Only six minutes later, Forest made it 3-0. Osborn’s cross found Billy McKay at the back post who fired home. Walker got his second of the game in the 84th minute. He got himself on the end of a McKay cross to make it 4-0. The results means that QPR still haven’t won at the City Ground.
Here’s how Nottingham Forest fans reacted to the win:
A 4-0 win for #NFFC, Derby stuffed at home, butter chicken for tea…today just keeps on giving.

The best thing about it is that Warburton has been saying a day like today was coming and he truly did deliver after some critism #nffc https://t.co/P3YdD2d0nA
