Bristol City fans react and comment on team news vs Cardiff City

Bristol City are heading into this Severnside derby hoping to make it four wins on the trot. Lee Johnson’s side are looking to close the gap on second place Cardiff City to one point.

The home side have endured a great season so far with The Robins currently occupying fourth spot in the Championship. Bristol City also have a Carabao Cup quarter-final tie against Man United coming up.

City’s latest win was against Fulham on Tuesday. Goals from Bobby Reid and Korey Smith was enough for Bristol City to emerge victorious at Craven Cottage.

While Lee Johnson’s side have only lost once in their last five games, they were embarrassed at home by Leeds a fortnight ago. They lost 3-0 to The Whites, but since then they have beaten the likes of Sunderland and Premier League side Crystal Palace in the Carabao Cup.

Cardiff themselves will be looking to make it four wins in a row, and they will prove to be a big test for the home side. Defeat for Neil Warnock’s side could see them fall out of the top two.

The home side haven’t beaten Cardiff since August 2012. Here’s the Bristol City team which will be looking to get the win in the Severnside derby.
