Bradford City fans react to the Bristol Rovers game

Bradford City enter today’s game at Valley Parade against Bristol Rovers in 9th place in the Sky Bet League One table, two places higher than their visitors.

City have seven points from their opening four games of the season and enter this home game on the back of a disappointing 3-3 draw away at Walsall, City at one point holding a 3-0 lead after just 49 minutes. Shay McCarten (30′), and Dominic Poleon (38′) scored City’s goals with the third coming the way of a Luke Leahy own goal (49′).

The unfortunate Leahy made amends with a goal at the right end (54′), with Tyler Roberts (61′)pulling it back to 3-2. It looked to be a City win until Amadou Bakayoko (87′) popped up with a late equaliser for the home side.

Visitors Bristol Rovers are looking to win their third consecutive game for the first time since 2010 following an impressive 3-1 win last time out over Fleetwood and a 3-2 win the game before against Bury.
