Sunderland manager Simon Grayson has suffered his first defeat in charge of The Black Cats after his side fell to a 2-0 loss to Leeds United at The Stadium of Light on Saturday evening.
Samuel Saiz gave the visitors a 1-0 lead with his first half goal before Stuart Dallas sealed the victory for The Whites in the second half with a thumping header.
The defeat sees Sunderland fall to 12th place in the Sky Bet Championship and after the match, fans took to Twitter to give their views on the result.
That was a terrible display. Galloway was poor, Steele awful for 1st goal, Cattermole pathetic all game. #SAFC

Let's not forget the hard start we've had against teams that wanted to build on the season before. 4th, 7th, 8th and 9th. #safc

Not entirely disappointed tonight if the @grabbs22 effort had gone in who knows ? Both goals conceded during decent spells !! #SAFC

After the bury game probably would've took 4 points from our next 3 games. Also think grabban scores different outcome today #SAFC

Seen us play better but take nowt away from #lufc thought they played, and defended brilliantly today. Still #positive about #SAFC so far 🔴⚪

George Honeyman was immense again today.

Today shows how reliant the team are on McGeady and Grabban. Both had quiet games #Safc

Time for a pint or 3 🍺🍺🍺. Forget about the game and move onto midweek. 1st setback but we can bounce back. #SAFC

5 points from the first 4 is better than what I was expecting. Obviously needing some new signings but we're better than most thought #SAFC
