Highly rated Husband Tigers target

Doncaster Rovers left-Back James Husband is reportedly attracting interest from Premier Hull City.

The 20 year old according to the Sheffield Star has caught the interest of the Europa League outfit. After a great season in the Championship in which the defender showed a lot of promise, many clubs were alerted that this season is the final year in his contract.

Rovers manager Paul Dickov confirmed to The Star that there has been interest – “We’ve had a few clubs enquire about him but we’ve had no firm offers for him, There’s been a few figures bandied around but until we get that we can’t really say anything.”

The Hull Daily Mail has taken a more cautious approach around the defender’s future declaring that the club are “distancing themselves” from a deal as Manager Steve Bruce takes a “patient approach in his search for a new left-back”.

The left-back has made 62 appearances for Rovers scoring four goals. It is likely that if Hull did show more of an interest, the temptation of Premier League and European football could be enough to lure the centre-back away from South Yorkshire.
