Lascelles bid rejected.

SkySports reports that QPR have had a bid rejected for young Jamaal Lascelles.

QPR have seen a £4 million bid for the youngster rejected by Nottingham Forest but it is not certain as to whether Forest will hold onto the youngster or not and his final destination is still very much open whether it is at the City Ground or not.

Sky Sports Pete O’Rourke confirmed the bid had been rejected earlier through twitter.

Lascelles (20) has apparently been sought after by many top-flight clubs after a wonderful season with Forest where he made 27 appearances in the league and scored two from centre-back. He previously had been out on loan from Stevenage where he made appearances in the play-off semi finals for the club before returning to Forest for the previous season.

Lascelles has also made appearances for England at Under-20 , U18 and U19 levels. Back in 2011 Arsenal reportedly bidded £5 million for his services however Forest rejected the approach for him.

According to Goal.com, Lascelles is subject to interest of Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham as well as Everton are thought to have previously been tracking his progress.
