Blackburn Rovers fans react to signing of Championship striker

Blackburn Rovers have completed the signing of Reading striker Dominic Samuel for an undisclosed fee, as reported on the club’s official website.

Blackburn had been linked with Samuel for a couple of weeks, but fans were forced to wait over a week for the transfer to finally go through.  The 23-year-old striker has signed a three-year deal at Ewood Park, taking him through to 2020.

Samuel will link up with a couple of familiar faces at Ewood Park following his move from Reading.  The striker has played under manager Tony Mowbray once before, during his time at Coventry City.  Samuel scored six goals in 13 games, hitting a solid run of form.

Samuel also played with Bradley Dack when the pair were at Gillingham together.  With Dack scoring 15 goals and Samuel scoring seven, the club almost secured a play-off place.
