Kent, Hull City want Leeds United target on loan

Hull City want Leeds United target on loan

Hull City are looking to sign Ryan Kent on loan from Liverpool as part the deal to sell Andrew Robertson according to a report from the Liverpool Echo.

It is becoming more and more expected that Robertson will soon be making the move to Liverpool. He was one of the better performers for Hull last year as they ended up being relegated from the Premier League and has obviously shown enough for a team that will be playing in the Champions League this season to try and sign him. But while the deal is close to being completed, Hull are looking to get something other than the £8m fee that Liverpool will be paying.

The Tigers are now also looking to get Kent on loan from Liverpool as part of this deal. While he is very highly rated by the coaching staff in Merseyside, he is yet to make his debut for the club and has instead will be loaned out. However he has impressed a lot in both of these loans, at Coventry City and Barnsley respectively, with the latter trying to sign him again after last year. Hull’s Yorkshire rivals Leeds United have also been reported to be in the race to sign him.

And with Kent showing he can be a force in the Sky Bet Championship, Hull are now looking to sign him on loan as part of their deal to sell Robertson to Liverpool. While it wouldn’t completely make up the pain of losing one of their best players, it would certainly help.
