Seyed Ashkan Dejagah (Right Wing, Fulham & Iran)

Dejagah currently of Fulham, is an attacking midfielder who can usually be found on the Right Wing. Dejagah was voted Fans Player of the Season 2013/14 for Fulham and they will be hopeful of hanging onto their star man.

 

What impact will he have in the World Cup?

Dejagah is fairly new to the Iranian national team. He represented Germany at youth levels between 2001 and 2009. Dejagah has played for the Iranian national team since 2011, helping them qualify for the 2014 World Cup. With 14 caps to his name and his experience in the English and German top flight, Dejagah is certainly a crucial part of the Iran team for this World Cup. Iran will face Nigeria and Bosnia in a battle in which is likely to be for second place in Group F behind Argentina.
