Charlton Athletic have confirmed that centre-back, Jason Pearce, has extended his contract until 2020, according to the official club website.
The Charlton manager is now in the process of rebuilding the squad, with his intention for a return to the Sky Bet Championship, and Robinson clearly believes that Pearce is part of his plans, by offering him a contract extension until 2020.
Speaking to The News Shopper, Jason Pearce had the following to say.
“I want to keep progressing and be at a progressive club, and I believe that Charlton is the right place for me.
“Hopefully the fans and the club have seen what I can bring to the team, and I hope that I can be part of getting the club up to where it belongs.”
The defender then took to Twitter to make clear his delight to commit to the Red southeast London outfit until 2020.
