3 of the longest Championship away journeys for next season

If you asked a large group of hard core football fans whether they prefer home or away days then the general answer you would get would be away.

There’s just something special about following your team around the country no matter how far that no one can put their finger on. It’s an addiction. Some journeys however separate the men from the boys, literally doing the length of the country in some cases.

If you’re a fan of a team from the north east or south west you know this only too well, trudging out of the house in early hours of the morning to travel six hours away. But as has been said previously, there is nothing you would rather do.

This post looks at the top three longest trips for clubs in the Championship ahead of next season. 500 mile round trips will be a normality for some fans next season, the teams which have been promoted and relegated haven’t exactly helped the petrol fund to put it lightly.
