This young Frenchman has hit the net 6 times in 6 starts, helping Blackburn to an unbeaten April and keeping them, albeit virtually impossible, in mathematical contention for a play-off spot right up until this weekend’s final fixtures. Gestede scored a hat-trick of headers away at Birmingham, and was on target in victories over QPR, Ipswich and Charlton.
