Bolton’s 2 – 1 win against Northampton Town saw them move into the final automatic promotion spot. Charlton’s defeat at Bramall Lane saw Sheffield United extend their lead at the pinnacle of League One to nine points. Meanwhile Southend United knocked Millwall out of the final playoff spot, as the Shrimpers beat Walsall 3 – 2. Lastly, Bradford City’s swift come back after going 1-0 down to Swindon, saw them consolidate themselves in the top four.
