With most teams in League 1 having only 5 games left to play it really is the business stage of the season. No team in the league are mathematically up or down, so there still is a lot to play for with less than a calendar month of the  season remaining. The midweek games saw Brentford strengthen their grip on the automatic promotion places, while Peterborough opened up a 6 point gap on 7th placed MK Dons. Sheffield United, also beat Rotherham, which put an end to The Millers 16 match unbeaten run. Rotherham’s Yorkshire derby with Bradford this weekend is amongst the 4 games previewed.

All of the games this weekend will be kicking off 7 minutes later than usual to mark the 25th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster.
