Sky Bet Championship club Ipswich Town could be close to sacking Mick McCarthy according to a tweet from Myles Kenlock last night.
Many fans have been calling for Owner Marcus Evans to take action and it appears that yesterday’s 2-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town may have proved to be the final straw, with the Blues’ Owner reportedly leaving his seat well before the full-time whistle.
Marcus Evans has seen enough. He's gone. Ian Milne still in his seat. #itfc

The 20-year-old has made four appearances for the Tractor Boys so far this season, with first-team opportunities proving to be limited for the youngster.
The academy graduate made his first-team debut in August 2015 in the 2-1 EFL Cup victory over Stevenage.
The tweet, pictured below, was quickly deleted but suggested that time had run out for former Wolves boss Mick McCarthy.
The Blues are without consecutive wins all season, and recent defeats to QPR, Birmingham and Fulham – as well as an embarrassing cup exit to Non-League Lincoln City – have piled pressure on the Town boss, with yesterday’s 2-0 defeat at Huddersfield Town proving to be the final straw.
Early sources this morning suggested a press conference would be held at Portman Road or at their Playford Road training centre to announce McCarthy’s departure – but time has proved these statements to be inaccurate.
The Tractor Boys face a number of difficult games in the coming weeks.
A trip to Preston’s Deepdale is up next for the struggling Blues, before the Suffolk side play three top-six teams in their next five games – with February ending with a trip to the Blues East Anglian neighbours Norwich City.
