Danny Williams – Reading
It looked as though it was going to be another one of those frustrating days for Nigel Adkins and Reading as they had the better of the chances, but failed to find the net. Well that was the case until a thunderbolt strike from Danny Williams. After a barnstorming run from Danny Guthrie, the ball came to Williams who smashed it into the top corner to send the Royal’s fans behind the goal wild. The win was only Reading’s third in nine games, however they now have a five point lead in 6th over the chasing pack.
