Bristol City look to loan young Hornet

Bristol City are reportedly considering a January loan move for Watford youngster Jerome Sinclair according to the Bristol Post.

The Robins have failed to score in their last two SkyBet Championship outings and have slipped behind in the race for a Play Off place.

Overall, Bristol City have enjoyed a positive start to the season under ambitious young manager Lee Johnson however The Robins have been reliant upon the goals of on loan Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham and City boss Johnson is ready to reduce the burden on the youngster by bringing in further attacking options.

It has been reported that The Robins are interested in taking Watford striker Sinclair on loan for the remainder of the campaign. The 20 year old Birmingham born hotshot is yet to make his senior debut for The Hornets but is highly rated by the club and loaning the player to Bristol City could prove a good option when compared to the development which Chelsea youngster Abraham has enjoyed in a short space of time at Ashton Gate.

Sinclair came through the academy at Liverpool and made five appearances for The Reds scoring one goal.  The young forward joined current club Watford in the summer when his contract at Anfield expired following interest from The Hornets in last January’s transfer window.
