David Cotterill – Doncaster Rovers
The return of Billy Sharp to the club has helped Rovers turnaround their season, but Cotterill has been just as important in this recent improvement. Cotterill opened the scoring when his corner was headed out and eventually made its way back to the winger, before he drove the ball home from a tight angle. The 26-year-old now has 3 goals for the season and the 2-1 win over Leeds opens up a 8 point gap between the Vikings and the relegation zone.
