Ali Al-Habsi – Wigan Athletic
In goal this week is Wigan keeper Ali Al-Habsi who had a busy day between the sticks for the Latics in the South Lancashire derby against Bolton at the Reebok. Al-Habsi is undoubtedly a Premier League goalkeeper and amongst the best in the Championship without question. He proved just why that is on Saturday as Wigan found themselves on the back foot for large periods of the game. The keeper made no fewer than 8 saves keeping Wigan in the game and they should have snatched the points, but Jordi Gomez saw his late penalty saved.
