Liverpool teenager agrees terms with Norwich City

According to The Independent, Liverpool youngster Sergi Canos has agreed personal terms with Norwich City and will join the club in the coming days.

The young Spaniard has agreed a four year deal at Carrow Road.

The fee is expected to be in the region of £2.5million.

Canos has attracted attention from a number of Championship clubs, including Brentford, where he spent last season on loan, but he feels that Norwich City have the best chance of reaching the Premier League.

During his loan spell at Griffin Park last season, the youngster scored 7 goals in 18 games.

He returned to Liverpool at the end of the Championship season, and made his first team debut on the final day in their match with West Brom.

Canos was heading into the final year of his contract, and despite attempts from Liverpool to get him penned down, he decided his future was best spent elsewhere.

The 19 year old joined Liverpool from Barcelona three years ago. He had been on the books at Barcelona since the age of 13.

Canos has represented his native Spain at four different age groups. He’s played for the U15, U16, U17 and U19 national sides, scoring five goals in a total of 16 appearances.
