Bury should be safe
Under David Flitcroft Bury have been transformed – they have gone from being one of the favourites to go down, to mid-table and, following some terrific results over the last few matches against teams in the upper echelons of the league, their good form looks set to continue. The Shakers have at least one game in hand on all the teams below them and will feel confident of moving further away from the dreaded relegation zone as the season draws ever closer to a finish. Bury’s last three games have finished level against teams who are challenging for a place in the Play-Offs and they will take confidence from these results. A mid-table finish should be nailed-on for Bury, for which Flitcroft deserves huge recognition.
