Earlier today, the72 reported that Aston Villa had completed the signing of Aaron Tshibola from Reading.
The fee is undisclosed, but rumours earlier in the week suggested that the bid was in the region of £5million.
Tshibola is highly rated in the football league, and could be a great coup for recently relegated Villa.
Here’s how fans of both sides reacted to the news on Twitter:
This Reading fan described themselves as “gutted” following the departure of Aaron Tshibola.
Gutted to see you go @AaronTshibola but best of luck with the next stage of your career.

Some Villa fans are still struggling to be optimistic following the side’s abysmal performance in the Premiership last season.
I know nothing of Aaron Tshibola. £5m seems a lot, hopefully it end's up being a bargain. #avfc
