Jose Mourinho’s son signs for Championship club

Despite rumours that Jose Mourinho’s son, Jose Junior, would follow the Special One to Old Trafford, he has opted to sign a two year deal with Championship side Fulham, according to The Daily Express.

The teenager’s career appears to have followed a pattern, wherever his dad is managing, he’ll play in the youth side there, but he’s decided to remain in London despite his father’s move to Manchester.

The youngster has played in the youth sides of several of the clubs that Mourinho senior has managed throughout his career.

He’s spent time in the youth set ups at both Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Jose Junior isn’t brand new to Fulham, as he’s played there several times throughout the past few years, despite training at Chelsea.

He’s been offered a two year scholarship with the West London side.

The young goalkeeper is following in the footsteps of his grandfather, who played for several Portuguese teams in goal in a career which spanned over two decades.

Jose Junior was delighted and signing his new contract, and he took to both Twitter and Instagram to share the good news with his followers.
