The Daily Mail reports that three clubs have declared their interest in signing Millwall striker Lee Gregory. Scottish giants Celtic, plus Championship clubs Sheffield Wednesday and Queens Park Rangers are amongst those.

The 27-year-old fired in 27 goals last season as his club reached the League One Play-Off Final. Neil Harris already looks set to lose one key player in the form of Mark Beevers this summer. He will be particularly keen to keep hold of his goalscorer forward.

The former Halifax man signed a three-year contract when moving to The Den in July 2014. During his time in Halifax, he played up front alongside Leicester and England striker Jamie Vardy.

It is believed that no concrete bids have been issued by any club for the player at this stage. It is very much a case of Millwall asking; name a price.

Harris guided the Lions to fourth in League One last season. Fellow striker Steve Morrison was only three league goals behind Gregory’s end tally, but he will still want to keep him on board. The pair formed a great partnership last season. Harris will be desperate to retain that for their promotion push.

Brendan Rodgers is desperate to add more goals to his Celtic side for next season. He is aiming to bring an attractive and attacking brand of football to Celtic Park.

Carlos Carvalhal and Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink are also both keen on improving their own striking options. Knowing the player is proven in League One, they feel he is worth a shot at Championship football.
