Will Grigg to Tigers – Wigan fans are terrified

Will Grigg has emerged as a shock target for Premier League new boys Hull City, according to the Hull Daily Mail.

The Northern Ireland and Wigan Athletic forward has taken League One (and recently the charts!)  by storm this season, scoring 25 times as Wigan won the league.

Grigg is in the Northern Ireland squad for the European Championships this summer in France and the Northern Ireland fans will be hoping to sing the song all summer.

Hull went up via the playoffs thanks to a Mohamed Diame wonderstrike, and are looking to add to their team in order to do what they couldn’t do last time they were in the Premier League – stay up.

Grigg has been linked with a lot of clubs in recent times – who apparently do their scouting via iTunes – including Scottish champions Celtic, but Hull have now entered the race for the pop sensation.

Leeds and Nottingham Forest are also among the favourites to sign the goalscorer, with Leeds looking to replace the outgoing Mirco Antenucci, and looking for a back-up for Chris Wood who has failed to justify his £3m price tag.

Nottingham Forest haven’t been able to spend money recently due to a transfer embargo but are expected to add to their squad this summer.
