Trio linked with moves to Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town’s summer recruitment is well and truly in full swing with another three players linked with moves to The John Smith’s Stadium according to the Huddersfield Examiner.

The Terriers are said to be chasing Joel Coleman, Ivan Paurevic and Jack Payne as head coach David Wagner looks to improve his options ahead of next season.

Coleman is a 20 year old goalkeeper who graduated from the academy set up at Oldham Athletic and the player has gone on to make 45 senior appearances for The Latics. The youngster is out of contract at Boundary Park this summer so Town could land Coleman for a tribunal fee.

Essen born midfielder Ivan Paurevic currently plays in the Russian Premier League for FC Ufa. The 24 year old is under contract with the Russian club until next summer and is well known by Huddersfield Town head coach David Wagner after he worked with the midfielder when he was a coach at Borussia Dortmund.

Town are also thought to be chasing the signature of Southend United midfield ace Jack Payne. The 21 year old has rejected a contract extension to stay at Roots Hall and looks set to move away from Essex this summer. Ipswich Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been linked with moves for the player.

Huddersfield Town are looking to push on to challenge in the top half of the Championship table next season after ending the last campaign in 19th place.
