Hull City Steve Bruce

Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool & West Ham track Hull youngster

ESPN FC reports that four Premier League clubs are monitoring the progress of highly-rated Hull City youngster Josh Tymon. The 17-year-old left back, who also plays for the England Under-17 side, is attracting the attentions of Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and West Ham United.

It is understood that Steve Bruce is keen on keeping the player at the club for now so he can make a serious challenge on a regular first-team place in the future. Scotland international Andrew Robertson is the undisputed first-choice left back at this moment in time.

This season has seen Tymon begin to make his mark on the first-team fold, with Bruce handing him opportunities in the FA Cup to impress. It was his performance against Arsenal which highlighted the attentions of Arsene Wenger, who has clearly instructed his scouting department to keep a close eye on the England youngster.

Failure to win the Championship Play-Off Final against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday could lead to even more speculation over the future of certain Hull players. Even though Tymon hasn’t featured much this season, and isn’t expected to play at Wembley this weekend, not earning promotion could increase the pressure on Hull to cash in on certain talents.

The KCOM Stadium club are said to be bracing themselves for interest over the summer, especially if they do end up second best to Carlos Carvalhal’s side in a few days time.
