Mansfield sign Danny Rose from Bury

According to Mansfield Town’s Official Twitter, they have just confirmed the signing of Danny Rose (Striker) from League One Bury.

Mansfield Town finished 12th at the end of last season in Football League Two, and are looking next season to push for a play-off spot, and the signing of Danny Rose is the first step towards that goal.

Last season Rose made a total of 34 appearances for Bury, scoring six goals, baring in mind that for 23 out of them 34 he came on as a substitute and did not play the full 90 minutes.

Taking this into account Rose could be a potent striker for Mansfield Town next season, and with Mansfield potentially offering the 22 year old full 90 minutes as a main striker, you can expect that goal count next season to increase significantly.

Danny Rose is the first major signing for the League Two outfit this summer, and Mansfield will continue to scout for more players which will boost their strengths and address their weaknesses for the following campaign next season.
