QPR looking to offload international to Prem outfit

QPR winger Junior Hoilett is attracting the interest of Premier league club Swansea City according to reports in the Mirror. The Canadian international is out of contract this summer and the Championship club will be more than happy to part company with a player who is currently earning around £45,000 a week as he was signed during the club’s time in the Premier league.

Welsh club Swansea are looking to the wide man to bolster their attacking options and are active in the market, primarily looking at wingers as rumours circulate about other potential signings Andros Townsend and Nathan Redmond.

Swansea City chairman Huw Jenkins has previously tried to lure Junior Hoilett to the club back in 2013 and is a long time admirer and it is believed that both sides will be eager to reach an agreement for the 25 year old.

With manager Francesco Guidolin staying on as Swansea manager, the futures of Jefferson Montero and Marvin Emnes have been thrust into doubt.

QPR player Hoilett could join forces with team mate Leroy Fer who has enjoyed a loan spell with Swansea and may cement a permanent transfer this summer with Guiolin clearly impressed with the Dutchman’s stint at the club. He said. “Leoy has been a good surprise for me,”

“When I arrived all the players were new to me, so I did not know him beforehand. He has helped the team in the last part of the season, he is a good player and it is possible he stays here.

“He is an option for us. I think he would like to stay and it would be a good otion for us if we can get him to stay.”
