Highly rated Leeds United youngster to decide future by Sunday

Young Leeds goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell is going to have to make a decision on his future – and whether or not that entails staying at Elland Road – by this Sunday.

The 19 year-old is one of Leeds United’s hottest prospects at the moment and was promoted to the senior squad in the second half of the season.

Leeds have offered the youngster a new two year contract but Peacock-Farrell is yet to sign and has been given until Sunday to make a decision.

The former Middlesbrough academy player made his senior debut for the Whites in a 1-1 draw against QPR earlier this year but, despite being promised more playing time by boss Steve Evans, this would be Peacock-Farrell’s only senior appearance of the season.

Joining the Whites in 2013, the shot-stopper has progressed through their academy but the stumbling block over his contract renewal appears to be regarding the club’s plans for him.

With Steve Evans expected to leave the club in the coming weeks, a new manager could make assurances for Peacock-Farrell should he decide to stay.
