Leeds United starlet drops huge hint about his future

Leeds United youngster Alex Mowatt has, amid transfer speculation surrounding his future at Elland Road, dropped a big hint about where his future lies.

The 21 year-old shone for the Whites last season, picking up their Player of the Year award, and drew attention from many Premier League clubs.

Having spent the entirety of his career at the Yorkshire-based club, Mowatt has (via an Instagram post) suggest he’ll still be with the team next year…

“Thanks to everyone for the support again this season, home and away has been quality. Many ups and downs, see you all season.”

Formerly an England Under-20 international, Mowatt is a versatile midfielder who can be deployed in either the center of the park or on either wing.

Despite his young age the academy graduate has already made over 100 appearances for the Whites during his three year senior career.

Netting an impressive nine league goals last season, Mowatt has struggled to recapture that form this campaign and finished the year with two goals and four assists in 36 games.
