Sheffield Wednesday suspend ticket sales for Play Off semi

Sheffield Wednesday has announced that the Club has suspended ticket sales for the home leg of the Play Off Semi Finals against Brighton.

With The Owls achieving their highest League finish in over a decade, and a modest ticket price of £20 for adults, the game looks to be a sell-out for home fans.

Senior officials at Wednesday are now meeting with local authorities to see if more tickets can be released to home fans.

The last time the Club did that was in 2012 when they secured promotion to the Championship on the final day in a 2–0 home victory over Wycombe Wanderers in front of the largest Football League attendance of the season, 38,082, of which only 487 came from Wycombe.

Sheffield Wednesday has said it will announce further sales on Tuesday, 10th May – leaving just three days for fans to get their tickets for one of the most important games in the Owls’ recent history.
