Charlton look to Chelsea rising starlet for next season

Relegated Charlton, who will ply their trade next season in League One, the third tier of English football and are on the lookout to steal a Premier League striker on loan according to South London Today.

The ‘man’ in question is Chelsea’s England Under-19 striker and rising starlet Tammy Abraham who South London Today say that “the Blues [are] likely to send him out to gain first-team experience.”

Abraham, who is highly thought of at Stamford Bridge, has been with Chelsea since the age of 7, maturing into a player that many think of as one of English football’s leading lights.

So far for the 2015/16 season, it is safe to say that the 18-year-old is on fire with 20 goals in 31 appearances and is already a two-time UEFA Youth League winner with Chelsea, helping the Blues claim the title the past two campaigns. He is also a three-time FA Youth Cup winner with the Blues who have been successful victors over the past three seasons.

Undoubtedly needing firepower to shoot straight back to the Championship at the first time of asking, Charlton have, accoring to South London Today, made Abraham “an ambitious loan target.”

Should they gain his services, no doubt the Addicks will be looking for goals like the following.
